The Georgia Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (GARVC) is a
state association that supports the RV park and campground owners and
operators of Georgia, in partnership with the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (National ARVC), which provides more local resources, discounts, advocacy, networking, increased exposure, and more for Georgia RV park and campground owners.
Our mission is to bring Georgia RV parks and campgrounds together for a common goal, ensuring sustainability in the industry, promoting community, and providing information and resources to members for an exceptional experience and value.
Georgia ARVC provides resources to campground members to promote engagement, education, and to highlight outdoor experiences in the state of Georgia.
There has never been a more important time to have a common voice in Georgia and nationally on policies that can affect the RV and camping industry and our businesses directly. You don’t have time to review every new piece of legislation, but we want to give you a voice in how these regulations, tax changes, etc. at the state level affect your business.
Georgia ARVC will host an annual state conference to network, idea share and stay up-to-date on the latest trends and regulations with fellow Georgia campground owners. In our first year of formation (2022), we met our fellow owners and operators at the Carolina ARVC Spring Conference in Myrtle Beach.
Throughout 2022, we'll be hosting local networking events all around the state of Georgia. Locations and dates will be announced soon!
Georgia ARVC members will also benefit from networking at a national level through our partnership with ARVC. Join us for the following upcoming events:
The Outdoor Hospitality Conference and Expo (OHCE) | November 7-10, 2022
We desire to provide Georgia ARVC members with:
Increased consumer exposure with local Convention Visitor Bureaus and Chambers of Commerce;
Inclusion in Georgia state tourism office and Department of Economic Development’s marketing and advertising efforts;
Creation of a Georgia Camping Guide to distribute in Visitor Centers, at RV shows, direct mailers; and
Creation of an online listing of active Georgia member-parks on gocampgeorgia.com.
Georgia ARVC members will also benefit from marketing at a national level through our partnership with ARVC:
GoCampingAmerica.com is a consumer-facing website, app and the only database for GoRVing.com. GoCampingAmerica helps market ARVC member-parks to the more than 25 million Americans who go camping each year.
Membership with the Georgia ARVC will also give member-parks access to the following National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (National ARVC) benefits:
Advocacy at the local, state and national level;
Industry-specific education and professional development opportunities;
Networking at various in-person events and online opportunities;
Business and marketing tools, including a free park listing on ARVC’s consumer-facing website GoCampingAmerica.com;
Discounts that save members thousands of dollars each year; and a
State of the art Career Center to find quality employees and list open positions.
Already a National ARVC member? We have a plan in place for your transition to dual state and national membership.
If you have a desire to be a Georgia ARVC member or to get involved in the association or serve on a committee, please reach out to us at GeorgiaARVC@gmail.com.
